Four Feet From Peace
It was the moon she saw shown in his eyes. His ebony skin akin to hers. He smiled as they stood just 4 feet apart. Time they had conquered and all that remained was space. She wanted to yell to the sleeping universe “I love this man’s soul, I love his heart, I love him, I love him” They moved to each other in unison. Their own urgent ballet. His hips to her hips his chest to her aching breasts. Instantly his lips to her lips. What had they done in just those few seconds of recklessness? She knew, they had married their very souls. The warmth of his toungue searching deep for hers. She was finally in the one place she craved to be, in his presence. She longed to explore him, but he was not hers to expose. He kissed her again. In 3 minutes they had changed their lives forever. In 4 minutes he was gone. She sat alone shaking and crying, shaking from fear and panic. Crying in desperation. Her soul would never be the same and she would never be 4 feet from peace again.
