When I got this in my e-mail I swear my heart stopped and I just sat dead still. It wasn't expected, it has been so long since we talked. I know he's still alive. Time and change.

I got the birthday call from my dad, I got the annual birthday song...I waited for it all day...my mama called me and sang off key...big sis called to wake me up and then called again before she went to bed...gotta love being best friends with your sister..lil sis left a message on the machine as well as my favorite Auntie. I don't mind gettin older. I like it. 33 ain't bad looking forward to the next year....Time and change.
